This isn't the first time Mindreef has tried to push customers beyond the basic SOAPscope Desktop product; recall the company's Coral release more than two years ago, which evolved into SOAPscope Server. Server has now been split up into versions for different kinds of users at different price points, with SOAPscope Developer a more full-featured, collaborative version of the Desktop product. ... There may be some early challenges, but long term this is a winning strategy for the company. ....
