Hollis, NH — October 13, 2005 — Mindreef®, Inc., a leading provider of collaborative solutions for Web services and service-oriented architectures (SOA), today announced the appointment of Leland (Lee) Phillips as vice president of sales.

In this newly created position, Lee is responsible for overseeing Mindreef's global sales operations and reports directly to President and Founder, Frank Grossman. The company's Mindreef SOAPscope® Web services diagnostic software has been deployed by thousands of customers worldwide. Mindreef products enable distributed development teams to build and maintain applications for a SOA in a highly collaborative manner.

"The addition of Lee comes at an excellent time for Mindreef as we’re seeing more mainstream SOA deployments from our customers as the Web services market reaches critical mass," said Grossman. "As we expand our product line to include more sophisticated offerings, Lee’s extensive experience in increasing sales, profit and marketshare will be a driving force in our success."

With more than 20 years of technology sales and management experience, Lee has an impressive record of accomplishment. Prior to joining Mindreef, he served as vice president of worldwide sales and customer support at Lumigent – during which time the company's sales revenues increased seven-fold due to expanded sales efforts, new partnerships and strategic OEM relationships.

Lee also served as vice president of sales and marketing at Braxtel Communications, following ten years at 3Com in a range of sales and marketing management positions. Prior to 3Com, he held positions in advanced systems design at the MITRE Corporation and the U.S. Air Force. Lee received a Bachelor's degree with a dual major in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Oklahoma, and completed graduate work in computer science and large-scale system redundancy at the University of Houston and UCLA.

"I'm extremely impressed with the customer response and market awareness based on Mindreef’s initial product," said Phillips. "Mindreef SOAPscope has built a loyal following and our customers have given us invaluable insight into their needs in real-world SOA deployments. Their feedback has set the direction for compelling new products and I look forward to helping introduce them to the market."
