The Technology of the Year awards recognize an elite group of products chosen from the nearly 300 products reviewed by InfoWorld Test Center staff throughout 2004. InfoWorld describes winning products as "significant technologies of the past year that promise to make the greatest impact on enterprise IT strategies as well as the products that best exemplify the implementation of those technologies." In the product review that led to the award, InfoWorld gave Mindreef SOAPscope its highest rating of Excellent, describing Mindreef SOAPscope as “a must-have tool for developers working with Web services.” Mindreef SOAPscope scored highest in ease of use, interoperability, and value.
