Software Development Magazine Selects Mindreef SOAPscope as Jolt Award Finalist PDF Print E-mail

Hollis, NH - January 28, 2002 - Mindreef, the creator of the SOAPscope Web services diagnostic tool, today announced that Software Development magazine has named SOAPscope as a finalist for the 13th annual Jolt Product Excellence and Productivity Awards.

For the past 12 years, Software Development's Jolt Awards have been presented annually to products that have "jolted" the industry with their significance and made the task of creating software faster, easier and more efficient. Jolt Cola, the fabled soft drink quaffed by software programmers for sustenance during development project marathons, sponsors the awards presentation.

This year, Mindreef SOAPscope was selected as one of 7 finalists in the new Best Web Services Tool category. Overall, 66 finalists in 11 categories were chosen from more than 700 nominations by a team of Software Development editors, columnists and industry gurus.

"Software Development Magazine has a strong track record of identifying the most innovative and relevant tools," said Frank Grossman, co-founder of Mindreef. "All of us at Mindreef are very proud that our initial product was selected as a finalist for such a prestigious award in such a competitive category."

This year's awards ceremony will take place on March 26th at the Santa Clara Convention Center during SD West 2003, which attracts more than 5,000 software developers, renowned industry speakers and the press annually. Winners will also be featured in the June issue of Software Development magazine.
