CPU:

  • 2 GHz processor or faster recommended
  • Additional processing resources might be required based on the number and types of operations performed by the SOAPscope Server users

Memory:

  • 2 GB (recommended); 1 GB (minimum)
  • Additional memory might be required based on the number of concurrent users using SOAPscope Server

Disk Space:

  • Required components
    • Approximately 275 MB for SOAPscope Server, with embedded JRE and Tomcat
  • Optional components
    • Approximately 70 MB for MSDE 2000, optional, you can use SQL Server 2000
    • Approximately 60 MB for the Mindreef Collector
  • Additional disk space is required for your SOAPscope Server database

Operating System:

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2003
  • Microsoft Windows XP Professional (SP1 or SP2)
  • Microsoft Vista
  • Linux, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 and 4 for x86.

Database Manager:

  • Microsft SQL Server 2000
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and SQL Server 2005
  • MySQL 4.1 and 5
  • Oracle 9i, 10g, 10g Express, and 11g
  • Apache Derby (Embedded)

Browser:

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or above
  • Firefox 1.5 or above
    • NOTE: JavaScript and cookies must be enabled for both browsers

Optional components required to upload contracts from a file:

  • Java Plug-in 1.4 or above (SOAPscope Server helps you install it when you use the File tab to load a contract)
  • Java Plug-in prompts you to install a JRE, if not already on your system and referenced in your JAVA_HOME environment variable

Load Check Technical Requirements

The system requirements for using Load Check will vary depending on the amount of data sent, complexity of the services, and the load checking parameters set by the user.  We recommend that systems running Load Check have multiple CPUs and extra memory, but of course the exact requirements will vary based on specific usage.  Please consider these general guidelines when choosing the system(s) on which you will run Load Check

In addition to the SOAPscope Server Requirements listed above, the following are recommended for Load Check.

  • Dual processor Intel Xeon or AMD Opteron system (recommended)

Memory

  • 2 GB (minimum)
