What's New in Version 6.2 PDF Print E-mail

Version 6.2 of the SOAPscope Server product family -- SOAPscope Server, SOAPscope Architect, SOAPscope Developer, and SOAPscope Tester -- is now available on our website.  It includes enhancements and fixes, including these:

  • For SOAPscope Server and SOAPscope Tester, Load Check capacity has been increased to provide more load generating capabilty, up to 100 simultaneous threads/users for most applications.

  • For SOAPscope Server and SOAPscope Tester, you can now understand the impact of the test tool on test results, by monitoring key system metrics like overall CPU utilization and JVM memory (used and available).

  • Improve security of shared assets with SSL Encryption in SOAPscope Server.

  • PDF reports generated from policy checking using SOAPscope Architect, SOAPscope Developer, SOAPscope Tester, and SOAPscope Server provide a valuable mechanism for easily reporting policy violations or proving policy compliance.

  • "Assertion Operators" using SOAPscope Architect, SOAPscope Developer, SOAPscope Tester, and SOAPscope Server give you the ability to make more complex response assertions in Scenario Tests. You can use assertion operators other than "=" to compare expected values with actual test response values to further automate functional and performance testing.

  • Addressed Duplicate Namespace Prefix problem.

  • Test Suites limited the number of times a user could view individual workspace details for a test run (SOAPscope Tester and SOAPscope Server).

  • Database Migration upgrade scripts - Fixed issue where workspace directory migration creates "symbolic links" between any directories with the same name. This could cause errors accessing certain workspaces.

  • Corrected problem where non-admin users get "RuntimeException: Access Denied" saving changes to User Profile.

  • Added rules R1012 and R1018 to WS-I 1.1 + SOAP Binding 1.0 profile.
